Hole-in-One

TrophyI made my 1st hole-in-one on July 15th 2007. It was the coolest single thing that has happened to me from a personal sports perspective. Below is the story about the hole-in-one:

I had been hitting the ball extremely well and felt very relaxed hitting the shot. The flag was slightly right of center. I usually hit a fade so I lined the ball a bit left. A pilgrimage to. . . Fenway Park!

Green MonsterMe and the wife went to Boston to see the Sox vs the Texas Rangers. It was one of the happiest days of my life. What a blast. Sox won and I got to see it in person with the best lady on the planet!

It’s getting hot!

sterling-golf-club.jpg Played a round of 10 holes at Sterling Golf Club, a little par 3 course in Sterling Virginia. The course greens are in excelent condition but miss them and your ball will roll forever. No worries. It just adds more of a challenge. I hit holes 1-4 and hopped over to holes 13-18. It was hot! The humidity is coming back. It was absolutely gorgeous here for the last 2 weeks. Thinking of hitting the course for another nine shortly.
